ULTRASOUND

Know for Sure

The earliest way to confirm a pregnancy is with an ultrasound. First, you need to know if you really are pregnant. At Tender Care you will receive pregnancy testing that is 98% accurate. If that test is positive, you may be offered an Ultrasound.

What is Ultrasound?

An ultrasound is a simple, safe procedure that uses sound waves to learn about your pregnancy. Tender Care provides limited ultrasound, to see how far along you are, verify the pregnancy is in your uterus, and determine if the pregnancy is viable.

Before Abortion

An ultrasound is an important next step even if you’re considering abortion. Because many pregnancies end in miscarriage, it is important to learn if your pregnancy is viable (developing normally). An ultrasound will also tell you how many weeks pregnant you are, which determines the types of abortion procedures available to you.
